21 Nov Spoke Newsletter – 11-21-2019
We are privileged to welcome our District Governor MELANIE RICE as our speaker. Governor Rice will educate us as to focus of District of 5330 during her year as our governor. An active member of the Norco Rotary Club for a number of years, she brings her enthusiasm for the good work of Rotary in our communities to our club. Her passion is to help youth at risk throughout our District. Let us give warm Rotary Club of Redlands welcome to our District Governor
PIERS BRITTON, professor at the University of Redlands, properly informed us about all things that Alfred Hitchcock considered in the directing of his various films. Particular emphasis was placed on the visual impact and imagery the Hitchcock utilized to when adopting the written word to the cinema screen
With the help of input from Dr. Britton, we will all be able to enjoy Vertigo with a better understanding.
THOMAS TURKEY or THOMASINI TURKEY (your choice) will be making an appearance at many of your tables next week. In addition, to Tom or Tommie, hopefully mashed potatoes and turkey gravy, cranberry relish, maybe a sweet potato or two along with some pumpkin pie will find their way to your table. This is just another way to let you we will be dark next Thursday.
