NATALEE MARIE GREGSON survived the horror ofhuman trafficking, and is visiting the Club to share herperspectives on this challenging issue.
Craft Talks were the order of the day. Thanks to twoof our newer Rotarians for introducing themselves, theirbackgrounds, and interests to the Club. First, DAWNMCCOY shared her work as founder and president of theRed Shoe Project, whose mission is to “Help, Heal, andGrow our community through mental health awarenessand support.” Second, we learned from JAY REMBOLD of CalComm Systems. CalComm “is dedicated to beingyour one-stop resource for products and support that willmake technology work better, harder, and smarter foryou.” JAY also shared his amazing experience workingwith Special Olympics in the Inland Empire, includingcoaching teams which compete in the region.
In lieu of the regular noon meeting, at 5:30pm the Clubwill gather at CUTLER INSURANCE GROUP for whatis sure to be the social event of the season! Regular noonmeetings will resume the first Thursday of September.

“Party Celebrates Billy Hatfield’s First Birthday”Redlands Daily Facts
“Master Billy Hatfield, son of the JOHN HATFIELDs,1028 West Crescent Avenue, was one year old Sundayand in celebration of the occasion Mrs. Hatfield planneda birthday party for him for Saturday afternoon.
“Billy’s young guests were entertained outside and foundthe plastic swimming pools their favorite entertainment.Each child received a sand bucket as a party favor.
Yesterday Billy appeared on Bill Stulla’s TV show, ‘ParlorParty,’ and received special attention as the youngest onein ‘The Birthday Castle of Dreams’”

It’s always a special treat getting to know ourmembers. Our Board meeting will be held Wednesdaythe 28th at CAL BOOTHBY’s office at 6:00pm. If youstill have your RED badge, I invite you to come out andcheck that item off the list towards your BLUE badge. Ifyou have any items you would like to discuss I also inviteyou to come out and join us.
Just a reminder our club will be dark Thursday 29th butwe will be having our 1st Club social at TOM CUTLER’scourtyard at 5:00pm, we hope to see you there.
