Last year current president Chris Alvarez enjoyed the hospitality of Melbourne, Australia for the Rotary International Convention. This year, president-elect Thomas will get to savor the delights of southeast Asia in Singapore! Rotary Conventions are a great place to meet other Rotarians, form new friendships, expand networks, and become inspired by what Rotary Clubs around the world are achieving.
This year’s event will take place at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Center from May 25 – 29.
There will be two Opening General Sessions on Sunday, 26 May. The first seating will be from 09:00-11:00 and the second seating will be from 15:00-17:00. Additional information will be available closer to the event. Details about the Opening General Session assignments will be communicated about 2-3 weeks before the convention.
RI Conventions always feature world-renowned and inspiring speakers, galvanizing everyone in attendance to return home with the zeal and enthusiasm to take on the next Rotary year and meet the challenges of our world.
